History
Sister Justina Violette founded Care & Share with a simple mission: to help people in need. She supported community members with essentials like utilities, food, clothing, and compassionate connection. In 1986, Care & Share opened in its own building, allowing her to serve more people while respecting their privacy. She dedicated her life to this work until her passing in 2001.
Today, Care & Share continues her legacy as a homeless shelter offering meals, basic resources, and support that helps individuals and families find stable housing and long‑term stability.
